This intimate portrait of Grete Weiss - de Wit and her stepson Bram de Wit illustrates that the death of a loved one need not necessarily be a tragedy for those who remain behind. The death of their husband and father inspired Grete and Bram to embrace the Buddhist way of life to a greater extent.

In this programme we encounter Bram at the end of a year retreat, at the retreat centre Dzogchen Beara.in Ireland. He talks about his experiences there, and how this increased his understanding. Grete would like to do a three year retreat, after which she considers to become a nun.
