The American Zen teacher Joko Beck is the author of well-known books Everyday Zen and Nothing Special. In 1983 Joko Beck became the third Dharma Heir of Maezumi Roshi. Since that time she has been teaching at the Zen Center in San Diego.
Few Zen teachers embody the Zen quality of ‘nothing special’ like she does, due to her remarkable presence, clarity and simplicity
