Using his research results, Van Lommel underwrites the ancient Buddhist views on life after death.
Together with the Tibetan teacher Gehlek Rinpoche he tries to attain a deeper understanding of these scientific and Buddhist insights.

Machteld Blickman's personal experience concurs with Van Lommel's findings. Her life changed drastically after she had out-of-body experiences during an illness.
