Lopon Tenzin Namdak, often referred to as the Dalai Lama of the (reformed) Bon religion, largely benefits the spiritual wellbeing of his many western students. In this film he adresses the causes and conditions that lead to fear, hate and aggression. Paralleling the medical treatment of phantom-pain by way of a mirror, his deep personal realisation of nature of the mind is juxtaposed to the warmachinery we are confronted with so often these days. Selfliberalisation by way of meditation and practice can lead to the right view of reality and thus negative emotions can be transformed into their original, fully harmonious nature.
