20 years ago, Swiss actress Lea Wyler left for Nepal on a spiritual quest . Confronted with the many streetchildren and beggars she started devoting her time to a children’s home for the many orphans there, as part of the worldwide Rokpa organization.

The film depicts the daily struggle of Lea and her colleagues against poverty and initiatives for the construction of an extensive new orphanage.

Her teacher Dr. Akong Tulku Rinpoche explains how compassion is put into charity as part of the Buddhist practice.
