The film leads the viewer in the footsteps of a people, towards the discovery of a world in which non-violence has been raised to the rank of an institution. Images of great beauty filmed in Tibet and Nepal, together with hitherto unseen interviews dealing with the meaning, history and legends of the Great Stupa, lead the viewer to understand that in this special world those who circumambulate the stupa, round and round though they may go, know very well where they are heading.
