Under the Bodhi Tree
 In the poorest province of India, Bihar, lies the pilgrimage site of Bodh Gaya. The ‘Bodhi tree’ under which the Buddha attained enlightenment 2500 years ago is visited by thousands of pilgrims every year. For the first time in 700 years Theravada Buddhists from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Burma, Thailand and India were united in Bodh Gaya, for a ten-day Tripitika chanting ceremony.
